 i love high-end personal care products. i love using them and treating myself well with them. the problem for me has always been that i could not use most products because of my sensitive complexion and allergenic system.
i also grew up with severe eczema and tried many, many remedies to no avail. the majority of products i tried either did nothing for me or worsened my condition. and of course, as my knowledge of how the body processes ingredients has grown and i learned more and more what most products contain, it became impossible for me to knowingly use toxic or challenging products.
so, i started my skin care company out of my own needs for high quality treatments that didn't upset me. i also wanted something that actually made an impact, a difference, and out of my desire for a line of sophisticated products that were sensual, aromatic, and completely clean.
i experimented with herbal preparations and basic formulas. gradually, with each improved blend, my skin radically changed.
i also observed mainstream messages and contents in my studies. i studied mainstream formulations and new ingredients, worked with chemists, herbalists and other healers and scientists, and looked at alternative therapies and some of the "natural" lines out there in my quest to become educated.
frustrated with the lack of 100% natural products and 100% honest information, i was motivated not only to bring something totally different to market, but to inform my peers as well.
the result is my ever-expanding line of pure, holistic, effective and gentle formulas made for all skin conditions but with sensitive types like mine in mind.
i continue to develop solutions that combine the best botanical remedies with scientific innovation, leaving out all synthetics. and, i continue to search for new information to provide you with, helping you demand the very best for yourself and your families.
i also wanted to say that this process of starting and growing my company has been a struggle but it has also been incredibly rewarding mainly because of you. your letters, calls and emails of feedback and thanks are such an inspiration to me and really keep me moving this company forward. i thank you so much for them.
